Antique American framed military print. Round print depicting an American revolutionary war scene of two cavalry soldiers wearing Tarleton helmets as used by both the Continental and British armies during the American War of Independence. One of the soldiers is stealing a moment with his sweetheart presumably before they ride off to war. This is unmarked anywhere but has a pattern running around the inside of the print to denote it is meant to be a round shape. Not sure if this is an original 18th century print or a later 19th century print romanticizing the war of 1812. The frame and backing are period for the Georgian Victorian period.

These would make a great addition to your military print or War of Independence collection or your retro home decor.
