Incredible late 1800s, 1890s era summer hand done crochet lace and linen mutton sleeve coat that would have originally been part of a walking suit. Frog closures down the center front, inset vertical lace strips throughout the lower half and highly decorative lace at the bust and neckline continuing onto sleeves

Condition: Great for age, but slightly as is. Freshly washed and ready to wear with care. There is some wear to shoulders with thread repairs to the lace and some small breaks in lace throughout as is consistent with age. Faint mark on arm and near hem. Presents beautifully on
